Jerry Ward joined the Prohotel team in 2001 and now serves as Technical Officer. He is responsible for the team that manages selection and deployment of e-commerce, front-, and back-office technologies at hotels globally.
Jerry led the implementation of Customer Relationship Management, reservations systems, server technology, and internet presence for Prohotels clients Ikal Del Mar (now sold), Esencia, Ikal Living, and Ikal 1150. Jerry has more than 15 years of experience in Information Technology: implementing ERP & CRM systems including the Oracle E-Business Suite, building data centers, deploying technology, facilitating e-commerce, and leveraging social networking.
Before joining Prohotel International, Jerry held positions at Nortel Networks, Ericsson, and First USA Bank. He also served as a consultant to Invesco AIM, Coach USA, METRO, The Dresser-Rand Company, and Fresenius Medical Care.
Jerry received a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and family and is fluent in English and Spanish.
