Cindy Rubio joined the Prohotel team in 2005 as Financial Controller. She established a comprehensive collection process improving the company's cash flow. She also cut costs improving the company's profitability each year. In 2009 she was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for the day to day financial operations and contract negotiations. She also works in new business development.
Rubio has management oversight and responsibility for all financial functions and oversees all revenues, costs, capital expenditures, investments and debt. She provides leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.Rubio has more than 9 years of solid experience in corporate finance for a wide range of clients including the banking sector, private owner operators and fortune 500 companies. She also has an impressive track record in helping existing hotels to restructure their operations and streamline their budgets.
Rubio received a bachelor of business administration and finance, with honors, from Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas.
Rubio lives in Houston, Texas and is fluent in Spanish and English.
